The Opera House Casino is located on St Thomas Street. The venue was originally a wooden circus, dating back to 1877. It then became a music hall called The New Hippodrome up until the start of world war one 1914 and has been a casino since 2002. Facilities include a magnificent restaurant overlooking the gaming floor and offering a variety of menus such as a grill menu, al a carte and table d’Hote. You’ll also find three bars, The Main Stage Bar, The Stalls Bar and the Upper Circle Bar. There is a private dining area for an intimate evening or corporate dinner. The Opera House is open seven days a week from two o’clock in the afternoon to six o’clock in the morning, however you will find the reception area open twenty four hours a day everyday allowing The Opera House reception staff to handle your every query at any time. Membership is free of charge however first time visitors and guests must take valid ID with them such as a valid driving license or passport, credit or debit card.
